Are there 2 adrian Petersons?

well in my madden 08, i did a fantasy draft for a franchise, and for a running back i picked who i thought was adrian peterson, and in my first preseason game, the other team had an adrian peterson. So is there another adrian peterson besides the vikings one in the NFL, or is this a glitch
