Is the war on drugs a bigger problem than the folks that use them?

Yes I think so. Instead of waging war on something like murder, or theft, they do it on drugs. Drugs are harmful but in a self-destructive way. They don't really affect anybody else. It's pointless to be so tenacious for something that only hurts yourself. Not to mention, most drug users are never caught anyways. The government is wasting all of our money on a problem which might not be a huge problem at all. People like to over exaggerate things too much. In fact, I think drugs are something the police should try to stay out of. Like you said, the black market does exceptionally well when there is a lot of pressure.
